Pravesha is published by the SSA to facilitate a platform for recent graduates of the social sciences and humanities to share their final independent research projects and theses submitted in the Sinhala language for the consumption of a larger academic audience. As the only Sinhala language periodical accessible to recent graduates, the objective of this publication is to encourage and enable recent graduates to be part of the academic discourse. The periodical regularly publishes articles from fields such as political science, history, sociology, literature, and linguistics.  

“ප්‍රවේශ” සමාජ විද්‍යාඥයින්ගේ සංගමය විසින් 2019 වසරේ ආරම්භ කරන ලද තරුණ විද්‍යාර්ථීන් සඳහා කැප වූ සිංහල මාධ්‍ය ශාස්ත්‍රීය සඟරාවකි. සමාජ විද්‍යා හා මානව ශාස්ත්‍ර විෂයන්වල සිය ප්‍රථම උපාධිය ගත වූ වසර තුළ ලබාගත් විද්‍යාර්ථීන් හට ශාස්ත්‍රීය ලේඛනය සඳහා ප්‍රවේශයක් ලබා දීම  මෙම සඟරාවේ අරමුණ ය.
