Mr. Shashik Dhanushka Silva counts more than 10 years of experience as a survey researcher and quantitative analyst. Mr. Silva has previously worked at the Applied Research Unit of UNOPS as well as at Social Indicator, the Survey research arm of the Centre for Policy Alternatives (CPA). He has obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kelaniya and is also reading for a Postgraduate Diploma in Conflict and Peace Studies from the University of Colombo. His research interests focus on popular understandings of justice, the issues facing the Estate Tamils and he also has a methodological interest in deepening quantitative analysis through the use of qualitative approaches to research. He is currently working to analyze the data emerging out of the Sri Lankan arm of the State of Democracy in South Asia Survey.
